In order to obtain a high quality product, the rice passes through various processing machines.

The rice milling process converts paddy rice (a product harvested in the paddy field) into wholemeal, semi-wholemeal and white milled rice. The paddy rice is an uncooked product that initially passes through a husker, is dried to a moisture level of less than 13% and stored in special silos and warehouses while waiting to be milled.

Throughout the entire processing process: coiler - whitening machine -  honeycomb roller - optical sorter - packaging machine, the rice is transferred without mechanical breakage and as a result its organoleptic properties are unaltered.

The pneumatic conveying systems are suitable for handling rice throughout the entire processing process, the transfer always preserving the integrity of the product to guarantee an optimal result and in compliance with the hygiene standards required by the sector.
