Raw coffee beans are transported in large quantities and quickly to the roaster for the roasting process, which is necessary to give the final product its aroma and taste, regardless of its shape.
Manual handling or other material handling techniques to feed the roaster are not always suitable to preserve the product from mechanical breakage.
The Delfin system quickly manages the coffee beans to improve the performance of the production line and increase the amount of beans roasted every hour. At the same time, waste of raw coffee is minimised.
When the customer loads the roaster manually and at height, there is a real possibility of injury from falling and lifting weights. When the green coffee beans are poured manually, there is a high probability of contamination, product waste, bean dispersion and, above all, roaster malfunction, which may not be able to handle an excessive load of beans in a short period of time.
Thanks to Delfin pneumatic conveyors, this entire process becomes automated: the green coffee beans are no longer loaded manually, resulting in shorter production times and the need for less personnel. The new conveying system preserves the integrity of the product and avoids contamination or dispersion, maintaining a safer and cleaner working environment.
